Child Care Solicitor

TSR Legal have an exciting opportunity with a well-established, specialist law firm based in Northampton who are currently looking for a Child Care Solicitor to join their busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a firm who are committed to a high level of client care with a strategic vision for future success.

Our client specialises in all areas of family law including divorce and separation, child arrangements, care proceedings, matrimonial finance and property, mediation, collaborative law, forced marriage and domestic abuse injunctions.

The ideal candidate for this role will have around 3 years’ PQE and experience of representing parents and children both in private and public law proceedings. You will need to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and enjoy advocacy work.

As a Childcare Solicitor you will be responsible for:

-          Attending clients to interview, taking instructions and advise

-          Advocacy on behalf of clients

-          Negotiating to secure agreed objectives

-          Dealing with correspondence in connection with clients’ cases

-          The perusal and drafting of documents

-          The billing of cases on a monthly basis

-          Participation in marketing and promotional activities

-          A high degree of understanding in the relevant practice areas
