Risk and Compliance Officer

The varied role will involve conducting audits across the business and reporting on compliance, along with the auditing of third party suppliers to ensure they are compliant with their contractual agreements. Additional responsibilities include assisting with GDPR matters, handling complaints and liaising with internal stakeholders regarding compliance queries.

You will also assist in delivering training programmes in relation to risk and compliance and have the opportunity to be involved with providing continuous improvement initiatives, to ensure the firm remains fully compliant with regulatory obligations and prepared for emerging risks.

Our client is ideally looking for a candidate from a legal, financial or professional services background with experience of conducting internal audits within the risk and compliance arena. You will need to have strong communicating skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to work to strict deadlines.
