Principal Adult Lawyer

Excellent opportunity has arisen for a Principal Adult Lawyer to join a social enterprise firm on a permanent basis. Our client is a niche social enterprise firm that is one of the leading legal providers for local authorities and public sector bodies within the region. Our client has a strong client base and work is continually being brought to them.

As the Principal Adult Lawyer, you will be an experienced adult lawyer preferably with previous management experience due to managing a team of 4-6 lawyers. You will be joining a team that is currently expanding due to increasing workloads and the team vary in experience. You will be undertaking a caseload of the more complex matters whilst overseeing those in the team and delegating where needed. You will be required to manage client expectations and work with clients to ensure a smooth running of the service. ideally have experience of undertaking a range of adult social care matters either working in the public sector or private practice on behalf of public sector clients due to the seniority of the role.

You will report to a wider Head of Service and be required to meet your own billable targets whilst making sure the team are performing to theirs.
