IP Partner/ Senior Associate - Leeds

Boutique commercial firm in Leeds are looking for an experienced IP lawyer to join their team.

Founded by leading solicitors from the big 6' firms, this practice offers quality and specialist advice across the corporate and real estate sectors.

For a smaller practice, they have an impressive standing within the market. They find themselves opposite the top 20 firms, rather than the mid-market when it comes to transactions. Their typical client base includes uber HNW individuals/families and OMBs. They have found dealing with these type of clients far more rewarding than chasing the large corporations. Relationships are built upon mutual respect, with clients returning to them again and again.

The reason why they are now looking for an IP specialist is that they have found with the corporate work they do, there is a lot of FinTech transactions and they need someone to help with IP side to this. Ideally, they are looking for someone who also has some added value or who is used to generating their own work.

This would be an excellent move for someone tired of the grind' of the larger commercial firms. It will offer you an established and connected platform to bring your clients to or to grow your client base upon, but with a culture far removed from the corporateness of the big 6.' A work life balance is encouraged and individuals aren't beaten by targets or hourly charge out rates.

Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
