THE FIRM
Our client is a well regarded mid size commercial practice. It favours entrepreneurial lawyers with a vision to grow the firms client base through offering the best service.
THE ROLE
The corporate department acts for established businesses as well as companies advising on a variety of corporate law matters such as:
Mergers and acquisitions
Corporate finance
Corporate transactions and re-structuring
Funding agreements
Shareholders agreements
Directors duties
Commercial agreements and intellectual property
Company Registered Office Service
Company Secretariat Service
The team also has a wealth of experience dealing with overseas corporate entities, meaning they are well versed in dealing with transactions involving more than one jurisdiction.
Corporate finance, transactions and restructuring can raise a wide range of complicated issues, so a high level of knowledge and experience is required to negotiate such complex matters.
If a business experience difficulties, the team of corporate solicitors can work alongside specialist accountants to implement a reconstruction and consolidation exercise to safeguard the company's value and, if the founders of the business decide to exit, it can advise on a sale or management buy in.
The corporate lawyers work very closely with their clients to understand the nature of the business and the industry in which they operate. As a result, the department can deliver commercially focused advice rather than just technical theory. Supported by other teams in the firm, including the Dispute Resolution, Employment and Property departments, it delivers a specialist service to its corporate clients that is tailored to meet their particular needs.
