Development Solicitor

Development Lawyer - A leading law firm has a new opportunity in their Hampshire office for the Housing and Regeneration department which carries out a full range of property work including development and construction work for its social care and housing clients from across the voluntary, public and private sectors. This includes major and housing and care developments.
The non-contentious development lawyer (5+ years PQE) to join our busy national housing team and the successful candidate will undertake a wide range of high quality and complex development work alongside our planning and construction teams for both public sector and independent sector housing and care clients.
The successful candidate will be a commercially minded solicitor who can work very closely with clients, provide first class practical advice and who is technically proficient in housing development work. Prior experience in Social Housing Development will be an advantage.
The role will involve responsibility for your own caseload as well as working closely with the Partners and Solicitors of the Housing teams on business development opportunities. A genuine interest in growing business from existing clients as well as targeting and attracting new clients is therefore very important.
