The Role

This is a great opportunity for a Crime / Duty Solicitor to join a well-established local firm in Chippenham, Wiltshire.

The Crime department is currently very busy with them having recently expanded.

You will work on a broad range of work, attending police stations as a Duty Solicitor, you will manage a caseload of both Magistrates and Crown Court matters, the firm tend to get a wide variety of different offences making the role more interesting.

They have a good reputation locally and do get a lot of referral work. The department has an excellent track record in terms of defending cases.

You will need to be police station accredited - higher rights of audience would be of interest to the firm but are not a requirement for this role.

Requirements

• You will be a Criminal Duty Solicitor 1+ years PQE
• You will have excellent technical knowledge, be ambitious and have a real focus on quality
• Excellent prospect for progression
• You will have a focus on delivering first-class client service
• Salary will be dependent on your level of experience
