Highly regarded firm in Wiltshire seeks a part-time private Family Lawyer, with scope for a full-time arrangement should the suitable recruit have additional civil litigation experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic lawyer to join our client’s thriving practice located in Amesbury. The firm is offering a part-time role consisting solely of private family matters, or a mixed role of family and civil litigation on a full time basis. The successful applicants will undertake a rewarding caseload of complex matters, whilst running the firm’s free drop-in family law surgery.

• Divorce
• Domestic violence and injunctions
• Military divorce
• Ancillary relief
• Cohabitation matters
• Judicial separation
• Civil partnerships
• Negotiating settlements
• Instructing counsel
• Dispute resolution
• Exceeding the firm’s set billing targets
• Liaising with clients and various other professionals
• Participating in business development and marketing activities

The Candidate
• Applications are encouraged from qualified solicitors, legal executives and paralegals with a minimum of one years’ PQE
• Ideally have previous experience using case management systems for family law cases
• Work efficiently as part of a team and individually under your own initiative
• Be a strong communicator both verbally and written
