Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Commercial Solicitor within a prestigious London University, based in London. This is a great opportunity to join a small and very successful legal contracts team and gain exposure to some of the most complex and interesting contracts within higher education.
The successful candidate will be undertaking very interesting work within the higher education who are renowned for their innovation and cutting edge technology. The candidate will also be part of an organisation where corporate services has grown substantially and the variety in services and commercial contracts is second to none.

You must have recent experience of providing specialist expertise and knowledge across multiple areas of commercial contract management. The successful candidate must be able to provide technical direction and represent the organisation in meetings with stakeholders .
The day to day duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for drafting, negotiating and signing contracts on behalf of the school, with agreed service levels determined by the Head of Legal
• Provide expert guidance on the management of contracts and Intellectual Property
• Taking a leading role in the implementation and maintenance of an effective and efficient support service for the management of contracts
