Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment are now recruiting for a Law Costs Draftsman/Negotiator who is required for rewarding opportunity with a Top 50 international law firm based in Manchester / Leeds / Liverpool city centre. Salary is 25-40k.

Due to expansion and increasing workload, my client, one of the UK's leading commercial law firms is looking to recruit a number of costs professionals into their Costs team based in their city offices. The Insurance practice group acts for some of the UK's largest insurers and claims organisations and is consistently ranked in the top tier by the Legal 500.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a caseload of primarily litigated insurance costs work to include both paying and receiving party workloads, bills, budgets negotiations advocacy. The firm can accommodate an array of backgrounds.

The role is open to candidates will varying levels of experience, from Costs Paralegals to experienced Costs Lawyers/Solicitors. Previous experience in costs litigation in a commercial context would be beneficial but is not essential.
