This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role supporting the effective enforcement of competition and consumer law and investigating potential cartel and other anticompetitive activity as part of the Competition and Markets Authority’s anti trust teams.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is the UK’s world-leading body established to make sure competition works in people’s favour and businesses treat their customers fairly. As a Registry Support Manager, you will support our case teams through the life of competition enforcement cases, including at the investigation stage.

Specifically, you will provide oversight of file management and case administration on allocated cases, using your project management skills to manage the process, preparation and logistics for inspections and provide assistance to investigation teams. Other key aspects of the role will vary with the project but may include drafting documents and correspondence, supporting research and analysis, evidence reviews and stakeholder management.

You will also have direct responsibility for managing, training and supporting the development of Registry Support Officers, including overseeing and quality assuring their day-to-day delivery of case administration support duties.

To be successful in this role you will need experience of carrying out in-depth analysis of documents, with the ability to identify breaches of guidance or legislation. You will also need experience of using organisational systems and procedures for case or document management and ensuring full confidentiality and disclosure.
