Commercial Paralegal / Legal Executive

Based in Manchester city centre – a highly successful team is looking to recruit a legal executive or paralegal to focus on commercial and litigation instructions.

This a superb, long term career move for an ambitious individual to be an integral part of a specialist team and enjoy plenty of client contact. At paralegal level, applications are sought from career paralegals as opposed to LPC graduates who are seeking a training contract.  

Your role will be to support and assist experienced lawyers, whilst also developing your own case management skills.

We would be delighted to hear from paralegals and fee earners, who have not less than 12 months’ experience in assisting with a commercial or litigation caseload.

This team attracts quality work from an interesting mix of limited companies and regional businesses. You will be involved in a variety of instructions including:

• Business Trading & Contractual disputes,
• Debt recovery, insolvency and enforcement proceedings, 
• Taking instructions and preparing court documents.
• Drafting commercial agreements
• Attending client meetings – preparing documentation and taking minutes
• Assisting with companies house requirements and company secretarial issues
