The Team

The Role
The successful candidate will predominantly work for a key client within the Transport sector. You will be working with a Team made up of senior and junior solicitors managing your own significant caseload of circa 70-80 cases. The role involves dealing with land acquisitions for significant infrastructure projects. As part of the role, you can expect to undertake a range of land transactions work including amongst other things acquiring land by compulsory purchase and general vesting declarations, dealing with easements, licences and disposal of surplus land.
In addition to the above you will also work with other significant Transport client’s dealing with a range of landlord and tenant and asset management transactions.
The role will require the successful applicant to have direct responsibility for all aspects of transactions and be expected to liaise directly with clients throughout the entire process. The role would therefore suit a candidate with excellent communications skills who is happy to take on responsibility of working with important clients within a niche area of real estate.
Skills and experience:
- Excellent academic qualifications (minimum 2.1 at degree level);
- 0-3 years qualified with technical skills in real estate transactions, as well as landlord and tenant transactions;
- Ideally hold previous experience of dealing with a large public sector client.
