We are working on a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial and Technology Legal Counsel with one of the Globe's foremost financial services organisations. The position is located in their soon to be completed new offices in the highly connected heart of Reading. The organisation is able to provide a competitive salary and an extensive range of benefits. The legal team currently consists of around 19 solicitors spread across their Reading and London offices; the team structure lends itself well to progression with plenty of room throughout the mid and senior levels to advance in due course.

The day to day duties include an array of commercial legal activity. Typical responsibilities will involve advising, drafting and negotiating system various agreements in relation to the organisations growing technology centred services lines. The Legal Counsel will also advise around commercial risk across a range of business areas and internal stakeholders. There is also ample opportunity to gain exposure in a range of areas providing ad hoc support on a variety of other contractual agreements including RFPs, engagement letters, master service agreements and other agreements.

To excel in this position candidates should possess a sound commercial skillset and will ideally have in-depth experience around the technology space too. The preferred level of experience for this position is 2-4 PQE but candidates with the appropriate skills are also encouraged to apply.
