Leading firm seeks a talented Court of Protection Solicitor to join its busy office in Hampshire.

This is a rare opportunity for a self-driven Court of Protection Solicitor to join a multi-accredited practice located in the Southampton area. The successful candidate will undertake a complex and challenging caseload consisting of Court of Protection matters, whilst proving to be independent and eager to learn.

• Deprivation of liberty
• Cases concerning health and welfare
• Statutory wills
• Advising on applications regarding medical treatment
• Court of Protection proceedings
• Assessments of mental capacity
• Lasting powers of attorney
• Deputyship applications
• Legal Aid applications
• Conducting own advocacy

The Candidate
• Newly qualified solicitors with up to two years’ PQE
• Good academics
• Technical proficiency in Court of Protection matters is essential
• Excellent client care skills
• Outstanding drafting skills coupled with attention to detail
