Your new role
A newly created part-time position, intended to be for 28 hours per week. This position reports into the Head of Legal and Company Secretary, as part of a small team that consists of two lawyers and two company secretarial professionals. Working closely with the business, you will advise on varied investment management matters, including identifying and then mitigating risk to act in the best interests of the business. You will also advise on corporate matters including acquisitions when necessary, alongside data protection, marketing, corporate governance and disputes advisory matters. You will work with a variety of stakeholders at all levels, including senior directors of the company, investment professionals and client representatives.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK qualified lawyer with at least 1-3 years' PQE (more experienced candidates also readily considered, including those looking to return to work after a career break). You will ideally have some exposure to investment and financial services matters. In addition, you will have good experience negotiating commercial agreements and advising stakeholders at all levels. You will have gained excellent academics and training from a respected firm. In-house experience would be welcomed but is by no means a pre-requisite You will have a proactive and flexible mindset, ready to work both autonomously and as part of a team when needed, as well as being able to align with the organisation's strategy.
