NQ Commercial Property Solicitor

NQ Commercial Property Solicitor – A new opportunity for an NQ Commercial Property Solicitor to two years PQE is required by a commercial property team based in a Southampton law firm. The team have expertise in all aspects of a commercial property transaction and includes construction, planning, drafting commercial leases and sale and purchase of property or land.

The opportunity

An NQ to 2 year PQE commercial solicitor to join the team to assist with the following areas of work:

·acting on sales and acquisitions (by private treaty and by auction)
·letting (for landlord and tenant)
·property management (dealing with licences to assign, underlet and alter etc)
·property finance

The successful NQ Commercial Property Solicitor will work for a variety of clients including investors, developers, banks, and third sector organisations. The role will also provide support to the business services department on corporate transactions. As a member of the Real Estate team, the successful NQ Commercial Property Solicitor will be expected to lend general support as and when required and also contribute to the monthly department know-how meetings. Playing an active part in business development activities is also required.


Requirements
The role requires a good knowledge of land law, landlord and tenant law, land registration and property tax but with also some knowledge of construction and environmental issues likely to affect property transactions. Importantly candidates must be passionate about a career as a commercial property lawyer.
