Coram, the UK’s first children’s charity, has been helping vulnerable children for 275 years, and now helps a million children and young people every year. We help children and young people develop their skills and emotional health, we find adoptive parents and uphold children’s rights, creating a change that lasts a lifetime.
Established under Royal Charter in 1739 and operating under Act of Parliament, Coram is today a group of specialist organisations with integrated strategy. Coram Children’s Legal Centre (CCLC) is the UK’s specialist centre for children’s rights championing access to justice through information and advice, legal practice and representation, policy and strategic litigation.
Part of Coram’s growing Children’s Rights Centre, CCLC is co-located with Coram Voice, the specialist provider of advocacy services for young people in and leaving the care system, in the new Queen Elizabeth II Centre at the heart of our historic campus in Bloomsbury.
