Locum Housing Litigation Legal Assistant

Venn Group is currently working with a Local Authority based in the Birmingham area to recruit a Locum Housing Litigation Legal Assistant for an initial period of 3 months. Whilst the position is offered on a full-time basis, candidates who are only able to offer part-time hours but possess the necessary experience are also encouraged to apply.

Duties may include:

• Assisting Solicitors with their caseload
• Drafting witness statements and assessing documents for their evidential value
• Preparing court bundles and drafted legal briefs & opinions
• Conducting negotiations and to be involved in mediation

The client is able to offer an hourly rate of £10 - £18 umbrella per hour dependant on the candidate's experience.
