Job Details

Employment Lawyer (In House)

North Yorkshire

I am working with a 3rd / public sector client in North Yorkshire who are looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer with solid respondent experience to join their legal team.

The role is fairly unique and will be advising the body on both contentious and non-contentious respondent employment matters in the main including employment policy, regulatory issues, discrimination, unfair dismissal, and bullying matters. You will also be advising on related matters including public law, and legal risk.

The ideal candidate will likely have an Employment Law background from the public or 3rd sectors In-House although those in private practice with experience of respondent work and advising those in the public sector would also be of interest.

You will be working as part of the wider legal team with an assistant but should be able to hit the ground running carrying an existing caseload as you will be the sole Employment Lawyer within the team. As such those with at least 3 years PQE + would likely have the right level of experience.

There is a degree of flexibility with the role and the organisation would consider agile working and those looking for a perhaps reduced hours.

Salary is up to £42,759 depending on experience + benefits.

If you would like to hear more about this role please contact Graham Rawlinson for a confidential chat.

It is most often used as an annotation at the end of a complex mathematical, scientific or philosophical argument to show that the author had proven what he had set out to prove. In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".
