The Role

The firm is seeking to hire a Commercial Property Solicitor with 5+ years PQE to join their lovely office in Lewes, East Sussex.

The Commercial Property team has a wealth of experience and operates across two offices. They punch well above their weight and deal with a very broad range of work across a number of industry sectors, this variety will make for a much more interesting role.
The firm have more of a flat structure, you will get more in the way of client contact.

The real estate team supports both commercial property clients and private owners in London and the South East. Together they provide in-depth expertise on every aspect of property law to businesses, land owners, developers, care home managers, charities, local authorities and others.

They advise not only on buying and selling commercial freeholds and granting leases, but also on disposals or leasings of new buildings that often involve complex construction and financing arrangements.

They have substantial experience of property law for agricultural and rural estates, listed property, and other prime property in London and the South East.

Working closely with other colleagues around the firm advises on property-related disputes, tenancy agreement issues, property insolvency, and setting up licensed premises.

Requirements

• You will be a Commercial Property Solicitor with 5+ years PQE
• This role comes with excellent prospects for potential Partnership
• You will work for a well-known commercial property department
• Strong communication skills are essential
• You should have had experience in the above areas, although if you are stronger in some areas than others, I urge you to still apply.
• Salary is market rate and negotiable depending on your level of PQE, plus an excellent benefits package.
