Locum Senior Solicitor/Team Leader
Venn Group is currently working with a large established Local Authority based in the West Midlands to recruit for a Locum Senior Solicitor/Team Leader to join their team for an initial period of 6 months. The position is offered on a full-time basis with the possibility of some homeworking on offer.
The client is looking for someone with a wide range of experience and expertise who can confidently manage other Solicitors, Paralegals and Legal Assistants. Leading a team of personnel, managing performance and ensuring the achievement of targets / KPIs. The post holder will also handle the information law matters as required.
The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor or Barrister possessing a minimum of 8 years PQE in Local Government. Commercial Law experience is desirable but not essential but a minimum of 3 years management experience is essential. This role is ideal for anyone who has recently been a Team Leader/Senior Solicitor who is looking to take that next step in local government.
The Council are able to offer an hourly of rate of approximately between £50 and £60 per hour (umbrella) dependent on experience.
