This is a superb opportunity to join this in-house, not-for-profit charitable organisation who were established as a provider of social housing and who have plans to provide more homes throughout the communities to a wider group of customers than ever before. You will join them on the exciting phase of their corporate journey and you will be responsible for leading property and conveyancing matters for this organisation and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

• As the Property Solicitor, you will complete property transactions and ensure efficient transfer of selective property assets across the Group
• Ensure efficient transfer of selective property assets across the Group
• Develop and implement procedures
• Ensure assets and boundaries are recorded accurately at the Land Registry and on the GIS system
• Confirm compliance with the capital receipt sharing agreement in the transfer contract
• Lead a small team to deliver an exemplary customer experience
• Manage budgets ensuring income and expenditure is closely monitored and in line with business plan forecast and requirements

Requirements:

• You will be a Solicitor or Barrister with a property background gained in private practice or in a public sector body
• First class knowledge of residential and commercial property law with awareness of procurement legislation
• Exposure to OJEU and public contract regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a particular strength in producing accurate information
• Able to network and build effective and productive working relationships
