Civil Litigation Lawyer

Our client a local authority based in North West London is seeking a Civil Litigation Lawyer for three months initially.

The main purpose of the role is to provide advice and assistance in relation to debt collection matters and to conduct litigation on behalf of the council. It is essential that the Civil Litigation Lawyer has experience in debt recovery and advocacy experience in the County Court. You will be required to provide specialist advice across a wide range of debts including: adult social care, housing benefit over payments and council tax arrears. You will also be required to conduct litigation on behalf of the council up to and including trial.

Our client is ideally seeking candidates with experience in the public sector however candidates from the private sector with the requisite experience are encouraged to apply. You must be able to make a positive impact from the outset and work with minimal supervision.
