LAW Absolute are recruiting to an Employment Lawyer position for a local authority based in South London. This opportunity is being offered on the basis of a three month initial contract.
The successful Employment Lawyer will be required to undertake the following duties:
- Act for the Council and Schools in the Borough as Respondent in Employment Tribunal Litigation matters,
- Provide advice on TUPE, PAY Policy, Governance, Equal Pay, Redundancy and Discrimination matters,
- Provide corporate advice to clients on FOI, Data Protection and whistleblowing matters.
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you are able to pick up a caseload from the outset without the need for supervision.
Our client is ideally looking for someone to start within the next two weeks and therefore you must be available on short notice.
