Your new role
You will be joining a highly experienced Tier 1 Employment team who are extremely well regarded for providing advice to both Employers and Employees alike. The team work alongside other departments including Litigation, Commercial and Real Estate. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising, drafting, negotiating, advocacy and support across the department on larger cases. Your position within the department will also involve assisting the firms online HR resource, participation in initiatives and supporting the business development with both internal and external events. There will be a very healthy mix of work in the contentious and non-contentious matters. (Employment advisory and major project work, restructuring, employee relations, discrimination issues & PS Claims: Unfair dismissal/discrimination (all types), holiday pay claims/NMW/whistle-blowing/transgender/claims/redundancy/breach of contract, wages act claims/protective awards)

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a talented, motivated and ambitious trainee solicitor or recent NQ with at least 1 seat/6 months in the employment department. The ideal candidate with further have paralegal experience in Employment law and a desire to progress within a modern, ambitious law firm. you should be IT literate whilst also have a consistently good academic track record meeting the clients expectations of ABB A 'Levels and a 2:1 degree or above.
