Our client is a highly-successful practice and has an outstanding corporate Recovery team, recognised in both the Legal 500 and Chambers for their reputation and quality. The firm is now seeking a tenacious and charismatic individual, who not only has a significant appreciation for the black letter law, but also has a commercially savvy nature.

From day one you will be handling high quality litigation work, this will be litigation that is driven from and includes corporate recovery matters. You can expect the work to be exceptionally complex and of a fantastic quality. The firm have a fantastic reputation amongst insolvency practitioners and corporates and thus boasts an impressive client base, meaning work really is of the highest calibre. Whilst a regional practice they attract work nationally and a high proportion is from London.

This role is looking for someone to work as a right hand person to one of their partners, running matters together as well as by themselves, taking a proactive approach and setting strategies for matters. As the work is actually a mix of corporate recovery and commercial litigation they are really happy to speak to commercial litigation lawyers with a view to supporting them in the corporate recovery work that they will do. The key skills required are litigation and whilst there can be differences in the stance that is taken they do not see this as a problem given the depth of knowledge they have themselves. It presents a very real career opportunity for someone ready to embrace the challenge. They are very happy to have an informal coffee with you if this has piqued your interest but you are unsure due to it being an area that you haven't practised in directly.

You will be joining a strong team which consists of recognised partners, as well as a number of senior associates and associates and will receive fantastic support. The firm are keen to hear from candidates who have a real desire to practice in this area of law, and believes candidates who are have at least 7 years PQE will possess the necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role.
