Insolvency Solicitor

Our client, listed among the UK's largest 150 law firms, is looking for an Insolvency Solicitor to join the firm's rapidly growing and regionally recognised business recovery and insolvency team in Leeds City Centre.

The firm are single site, meaning processes are much more streamlined and all the resources and support you need are right in the same office with you. The firm invests heavily in its internal infrastructure, meaning you will be working with the most up-to-date technology in highly-modernised offices so if you are moving from a larger national practice you really don't need to worry about this. The firm is down to earth and take a genuine interest in their employees, there really is a great working environment.

In terms of the work, as a firm they deal with high-quality work and a diverse range of clients which range from major corporates through to smaller companies, both locally and nationally.

The team has a broad clientele which includes insolvency practitioners, accountants, company directors, sole traders and individuals on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious personal and corporate insolvency, and it is important that the successful solicitor can hit the ground running with a varied caseload.

Our client are looking to grow its already successful insolvency team further as there is a busy caseload of excellent work which is both local & national. They don't need someone with local contacts so this role could be ideal for someone who is relocating from another major city, however, as with all insolvency roles and to keep the team moving forward the would like someone with an outgoing personality and a passion for client contact. Even better, a proven track record of developing business and an enthusiasm to assist in driving this department forward would also be an ideal fit for our client.

The firm really do need someone who can pick up and run with work immediately, beyond that are flexible as to the exact PQE. They would look at extremely senior lawyers if they have a proven track record of developing work or a following.
