Clinical Negligence Paralegal role in Manchester City Centre - excellent firm

Your new role
You will be working as a Paralegal within the Clinical Negligence team. Your role will be varied, but essentially you will support the department with timely client communication, assisting with cases, obtaining expert opinion, instructing medical experts and counsel, preparing witness statements, client communication and maintaining records and databases. You will support the Head of Department with ongoing projects and work to support the overall development of the Clinical Negligence department.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be experienced in a similar Clinical Negligence role, having had ideally 6-12 months relevant experience. You will have experience of sorting and paginating medical records and preparing chronologies to help identify issues in relation to clinical negligence cases in terms of duty, causation and quantum. You will be able to assist with new client enquiries and present the information to Solicitors. You will have a good knowledge of legal principles in relation to clinical negligence work, relevant experience and strong academics.

What you'll get in return
In return you will be offered a permanent role with a fantastic firm in Manchester city centre, paying a salary circa £18,000 - £19,000 depending on experience. This is a well respected firm with an excellent track record and who offer great career development opportunities.
