Litigation Solicitor

An award-winning property management law firm is seeking to appoint a qualified solicitor, with a minimum of eight years of litigation experience, to lead the Litigation and Dispute resolution team based in Shrewsbury.
 
As a senior litigation solicitor within this team, you will be handling your own caseload of defended litigation at First Tier Tribunal and County Court in relation to unpaid ground rent and service charge, along with breach of lease and advice on remedies available to clients. Experience of property law would be advantageous specifically landlord and tenant work.
 
You will also be expected to supervise more junior/unqualified members of staff within the team with the ability to provide on-going training, as this is a key requirement of the role.
 
To be considered you must have a proven track record in litigation, have a strong understanding of the civil procedure rules and be capable of handling complex litigation matters, together with the skills, ideas and ambition to drive the department forward.
