Job Details

Commercial Property Solicitor

West Yorkshire

I am working with an award winning, Legal 500 commercial practice in West Yorkshire who are looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor around 3-5yrs PQE to join their busy team based at one of their West Yorkshire offices.

The firm has a strong commercial property team totalling 30 members of staff led by 5 Partners in total, across their 3 offices.

You will be working under the guidance of a Partner carrying your own case of commercial property matters. It is a broad range of commercial property work with around 50-60% of the work being landlord and tenant matters and the remainder being acquisitions and disposals, some development work, plot sales, re-mortgaging and financing work.

The client base is varied too acting for local businesses and SME's, to advising larger regional and national businesses.

Candidate dependent there will be elements of business development with the opportunity to maintain and grow excellent contacts that the firm already has after many years in the region.

This is the perfect role for those junior-mid level Solicitors perhaps stuck, with no viable progression opportunities at their current firm to really spread their wings.

Culture at the firm is really positive - agile and flexible work is encouraged and the priority for the firm is for the clients to be looked after rather than having a rigid culture of presenteeism.

The firm are competitive in the market where salary is concerned with a good benefits package.

If you would like to hear more about this role then please contact Graham Rawlinson at QED Legal who will be happy to discuss this Commercial Property Solicitor role in confidence.

Company

QED
An acronym of the latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum which translates as "thus it is demonstrated" or "that which was to be demonstrated". It is most often used as an annotation at the end of a complex mathematical, scientific or philosophical argument to show that the author had proven what he had set out to prove. In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".

As a recruiter you have to network and speak to large amounts of people and lots of law firms to really understand the market and have the connections to match people with opportunity quickly when the time arises. A good recruiter needs to be Quick, Excellent and Dynamic in everything that they do. Allow the team at QED to demonstrate what they can do for your firm or your career.
