Are you an experienced employment and discrimination lawyer? Do you want a role providing legal support to police officers without having to meet a billing target?
We are looking for two confident and self-motivated solicitors to join our growing in-house Legal Services team.
You will provide comprehensive employment and discrimination law advice to senior officials within the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW), one of the UK’s largest staff associations which represents the interests of police constables, sergeants, inspectors and chief inspectors.
PFEW has been at the forefront of supporting test case litigation concerning the legal rights of police officers, including many cases that have become central to modern discrimination law.
As well as giving advice you will contribute to the training of our representatives on employment and discrimination law.
You’ll need a professional legal qualification and at least two years post qualification experience in employment and discrimination law, evidence of continuing professional development and good research skills.
In return there are no hourly or billing targets and we pride ourselves on providing a flexible and family friendly environment that allows you to develop your knowledge and practice at work.
This is a full time role, based in Leatherhead, Surrey, but we are willing to consider part-time working arrangements.
If you think you have what it takes and want to make a positive difference to our hard working police officer members, apply here
