Locum Housing Litigation Solicitor

Venn Group is currently working with an established Local Authority based in the West Midlands to recruit for a Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer for an initial period of 3-6 months. Whilst the position is offered on a full-time basis, candidates who are only able to offer part-time hours but possess the necessary experience are also encouraged to apply.

Duties may include:

• Housing litigation work to include homelessness, possession claims, disrepair (claiming and defending, repossessions, rent arrears, boundary disputes, tenancy fraud, general housing management, leaseholder cases, breach of leasehold covenants, unauthorised works by leaseholders, easements and restrictive covenant advice
• Negotiation settlements of damages and costs where appropriate
• Providing advice regarding ASBOs, Injunctions and Possession Orders

The client is able to offer an hourly of rate of £35 - £45 per hour dependent on experience and 1 day of homeworking is also on offer for the right candidate after an initial period.
