Contentious Construction Associate - Top Ten Firm - Manchester

A Top Ten Global Law firm with offices in Europe, Americas, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific are seeking to expand their highly-regarded Construction & Engineering Disputes team with the addition of a contentious construction, projects and infrastructure associate. The role sits within the firm's central Manchester office and offers excellent career development for the right candidate.

The Construction & Engineering Disputes team is among the largest construction in the UK and Globally. Due to the continued growth of the team over previous years, there is now a requirement for an additional construction associate. The role will involve managing commonly complex international construction disputes whether via litigation, adjudication, expert determination, or mediation. The team has a direct focus on disputes in the PFI/PPP sector both domestically and internationally.

The successful candidate will be 6 months PQE+ and musr be able to demonstrate excellent technical skills and hold strong academics. Experience in a contentious construction team from a top Legal 500 or regional law firm is required. Candidates above below the stated PQE will still be considered if they can demonstrably add value to the practice.
