Job Details

This traditional full service high street practice based in Wigan are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to manage a small department. You will need to have prior management experience and be comfortable dealing with business development, supervision & fee earning.

As this is a traditional environment you will have your own office and Legal Secretary. You will be expected to supervise an NQ Solicitor whilst dealing with your own caseload that will consist of both private & public funded matters. The majority of the client base will be from the local area and need regular contact to ensure the departments good reputation is upheld.

Ideally you will be a Family Panel Member and be comfortable being a Supervisor for the purposes of the Legal Aid Contract. As you will be the Senior Solicitor within the department there is the possibility for Partnership and you will be able to shape the team as you want, with full control & autonomy.

Salary will be based on experience however this firm will consider salaries in the £50,000 bracket, which is a fantastic remuneration package for the area. Other benefits are also on offer. For further information on this role please contact Nick Skelly at QED Legal.
