A Leading law firm based in Taunton require a NQ Solicitor/Trainee Legal Executive to join their Personal Injurt Team.

The successful Personal injury Solicitor/Legal Executive will be dealing with portal and fixed fee claims with the opportunity to learn and develop niche areas of law. Work is varied and will involve running your own RTA and EL/PL caseload, as well as assisting with higher value claims in more niche areas of law. This is a significant opportunity for someone to gain excellent experience early on in their legal career.

Main Duties inlcude:
- Day to day communications with your clients, defendant insurers and solicitors.
- You will be familiar with the low value protocol and be prepared to deal with claims up to Stage 3 of the Portal
- You should have an understanding of the CPR and be able to draft basic applications.
- For fixed fee matters in proceedings you will be managing the claim and preparing court documents under supervision.
- You will assist with assessing prospects of success in terms of liability and be able to review and note relevant disclosure.
- You will be able to prepare instructions to Counsel.
- You will be able to find suitable medical experts and instruct accordingly.
- You will be able to draft witness statements.
- You will be able to assess quantum and research and consider general and special damages.
- You should be able to explain Part 36 offers and issues such as causation to your client.
- You will also have the opportunity to get involved with marketing opportunities and encouraged to prepare content for the firm's websites and social media.

Experience Required:
- Aspirations for a career in Personal Injury law;
- A good technical grounding in Personal Injury law;
- Strong academics
- NQ Solicitor/Trainee Legal Executive or 2+ years Personal Injury experience as a paralegal looking to secure a training contract
