Your new company
Head quartered in the North West and easily commutable from Liverpool, Widnes, Prescot, Knowsley, Huyton, Kirkby, Rainhill, Whiston, Halewood, Speke, Warrington, St. Helens, Ellesmere Port, Wirral; this well-positioned business is looking to appoint an experienced solicitor to advise on a range of commercial contracts in a business facing role.

Your new role
Your role will involve handling a variety of commercial contract matters in relation to IT contracts, distribution agreements, outsourcing, marketing contracts, licensing, IP and confidentiality agreements. You will be responsible for partnering with the business at all levels including Director level and will be involved in strategic decision making as you will provide advice to the UK business on a range of legal matters.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK qualified solicitor with solid drafting, reviewing and negotiating skills with experience in a good spread of complex and commercial contracts. In-house or secondment experience would be ideal and you will need to have excellent relationship building skills. Given the nature of the business, e-commerce experience is helpful although not essential. It is important that you can work seamlessly with the senior management team, the wider business as well as external advisors. This could also be a great opportunity for a private practice commercial lawyer, looking to make their first move in-house.
