Job Details
The Firm:
Our client is a full service law firm acting for both commercial and individual clients across Greater Manchester. Led by a highly capable and effective leadership team, the business continually invests in resources, latest technologies, continual training and skills development.
The Role:
The Private Client team is a well-established and provides a comprehensive service to a diverse range of clients including individuals and families whose net worth is beyond the nil rate band and those with business interests, second homes and investment portfolios.
Many clients have complex and wider family issues requiring particular consideration.
Requirements:
Ideally, the team is looking to appoint a STEP accredited lawyer, or certainly someone part way through and committed to obtaining this qualification.
The technical nature of the role requires a private client specialist with not less than 3 yrs.’ pqe undertaking:
- Preparation of wills
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Trusts including Lifetime interest and Personal Injury trusts
- Court of protection matters
- Wealth Protection and Estate planning
The person appointed will have a confident and outgoing personality, who is willing to provide support to the head of department in business development and team management.
