Financial Services Regulatory Lawyer - Cardiff
My client has a growing financial services team acting for clients in a variety of sectors, but with a slant towards FinTech and InsurTech firms who are disrupting the traditional financial services markets.
They support these clients across a number of practice areas, including Regulatory, Insurance, Corporate/Commercial, Intellectual Property, and Employment. This specific role will be focussed on the Regulatory and disputes aspects, although they are still interested in speaking to anyone with broader experience / expertise within the Financial Services space.
You will be an integral part of growing the practice, both in terms of the legal services that they provide and the wider brand / position in the market. Their ultimate aim is to become the leading FinTech / InsurTech practice in the UK, whic is more than achievable with the foundation they now have in place.
About you
The successful candidate will enjoy investigative and research work, have good drafting skills, be able to clearly communicate technical issues (verbally and in writing), and to grasp new ideas and concepts quickly. They will also be highly commercial, self-motivated, and have good interpersonal skills. All of these attributes are essential when working with high growth Tech clients.
