Private Client Locum Solicitor

A high street law firm in Newport is looking for a Private Client Locum Solicitor to assist on a full or part time to cover a recruitment gap.

The Position:-

You will be required to take over a small existing caseload of Private Client matters, including:-

• Probate & Administration of Estates
• Wills
• Powers of Attorney
• Some associated Trusts & Tax
• You will largely be getting the existing caseload up together as opposed to taking on new matters, but there may be new matters to take on in due course
• You will need to be comfortable acting on a stand alone basis with minimal supervision/support as you will be the only fee earner handling this type of work (there is another who can step in and assist when not in the office)
• This role has arisen due to an existing member of the team leaving and therefore a permanent vacancy has arisen. This role could therefore lead to a permanent one for any candidates ultimately seeking long term roles

The Ideal Candidate:-

• Will be a qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive happy to consider candidates with all levels of experience
• Will have experience of working within the area of Private Client
• Will be looking for a part time position
• Flexibility can be provided around working hours for those who require flexible working
