Based in their newly refurbished central Cardiff offices, this Legal 500 firm of Solicitors have a requirement for an experienced EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR to join their growing specialist employment team in Cardiff.

The successful candidate will have up to 5 years PQE with strong knowledge of employment law. The role will require high standards of accuracy and efficiency alongside with confident delivery of day to day commercial requirements.

This is a great role for someone looking to develop and progress their career, working closely with the department’s partner and key players within the wider firm in a supportive and thriving environment. The successful candidate will work with a variety of commercial and individual clients, advising on all employment issues in both contentious and non-contentious work.

To 5 years PQE Must be working in and have significant experience of Employment Law Self-sufficient and able to work with minimum supervision Ability to relate to clients at all levels and demonstrate excellent levels of client care Excellent communication skills

Key Duties:

Working on a mixed caseload including contentious disputes and litigation

Working with minimal supervision on straightforward matters

Assisting and shadowing the Partner in the department on more complex issues

Responsible for day to day conduct and maintenance of client relationships

Assisting with business development including seeking out opportunities to obtain new clients
