A national firm with a strong reputation for its property and real estate offering is looking for a conveyancing paralegal to join their property team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced conveyancing paralegal to join a large national team and be based in the Manchester city centre office, and the position will involve assisting a solicitor on property sales and purchase files. The position comes with plenty of opportunities to progress as well as to really develop your own knowledge and understanding.

Main Duties

* Assisting on residential conveyancing matters;
* Providing excellent and timely client service;
* Building and maintaining effective client relationships;
* Advising private developers and registered providers on the sale of new build properties;
* Advising registered providers on shared ownership schemes including staircasing transactions and Deeds of Variations;
* Advising registered providers on right to buy and right to acquire sales;
* Conduct of files;
* Assisting members of the team on a wide range of property matters;
* Advising on leasehold management matters;
* Building and maintaining effective client relationships;
* Ensuring files are managed in compliance with the firm's Lexcel procedures;

* Excellent academic record;
* The role would suit a candidate with some property experience or paralegal experience;
* Prior experience in real estate work in private practice, ideally with experience of development
* matters, is beneficial;
* Good team player;
* Experience of handling conveyancing matters is essential;
* A willingness to develop conveyancing knowledge;
* A willingness to develop general property law knowledge.
