Job Details

This private practice law firm is seeking to expand its well established and growing practice. The firm is seeking a senior private client solicitor to join their Reading based team. 
 
As a full-service law firm with an established reputation throughout Thames Valley and parts of London, they pride themselves on their reputation and their presence with national businesses and the local community as a whole. 
 
The quality and array of private client work you will be exposed to here is second to none, along with a working environment that is collegiate and very supportive.
 
You will pick up an existing caseload of work to include:
  • Wills and trusts
  • Powers of attorney
  • Probate and administration of estates
  • Inheritance tax
  • Retirement planning
  • Rights on deaths and illness
  • Estate and tax planning. 
You will be working with a team of four other fee earners while also working closely with the Head of Department. This role requires an individual with a can-do attitude and good commercial awareness. They look to appoint aspirational individuals with a professional and friendly approach to their work.

The client is ideally seeking someone with a minimum of 5-10 years' PQE. A STEP qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
 
Salary competitive and commensurate with experience and super company benefits.
