Adult Social Care Lawyer

We are currently recruiting for a local authority based in the North West who are actively seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer for three months initially with possible extension.

The length of assignment is initially three months but is likely to be extended further. Some of the duties you will carry out will include advocacy, eligibility cases, judicial reviews, advising safeguarding boards and health and wellbeing boards, serious case reviews, and compliance with data protection and freedom of information laws. You will be expected to have knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and ideally have some childcare exposure.

Although our client is ideally looking for candidates with local authority experience, candidates from the private sector are encouraged to apply. Due to the urgency around the position, the client will be looking for someone to start within two weeks maximum.
