This is a role that would suit an experienced paralegal, legal executive or caseworker, or perhaps someone at NQ-2 years' PQE who can fit in with the firm's salary structure.
 
Applications from fee earners with a corporate or employment law background who would like the opportunity to re-train into immigration will also be considered.

Business immigration is a growth area and the Brexit situation will provide opportunities for people to move into this area of law.
 
The main plus point here is that you will be working in close proximity to 2 partners and they will be able to guide and mentor your progress. At this stage of your development, excellent training is vital.
 
As an immigration law fee earner based in Nottingham, you should have drafting skills and you should be able to communicate effectively at all levels. You should be genuinely interested in moving into the field of immigration law.
 
The firm has an excellent track record of taking people into training contracts, this will not happen immediately in this instance but at the first available opportunity. 
 
You can expect to handle corporate immigration work preparing applications for sponsor licences, tier 2 visas (other tiers too), entry clearance applications and a wide range of work on behalf of household name clients in various sectors - retail, IT, universities etc. 
 
Applications from relocators will be considered, so if you are working in cities such as Derby, Leicester, Birmingham, Sheffield and Lincoln, the firm would like to hear from you.
