The City of London Corporation is dedicated to supporting a thriving economy and ensuring that London and the wider UK continues to be the world’s leading global financial centre and a global hub for innovation in finance and professional services, commerce and culture. We know that innovation and the opportunity for investors to access opportunities for environmental and social investing as well as the implementation of digital innovation and cutting-edge technology are all critical to success.
As we take the work forward, we have an outstanding opportunity for someone to join our leading-edge Innovation Team and become part of the solution. This will suit an individual who is enthusiastic and highly motived and who has a good understanding of the “innovation landscape” both here in the UK and internationally.

- Actively shape, influence and inform policies and work on the impact of emerging technologies on the provision of legal services.
- Provide thought leadership on the role of UK legal services in promoting the rule of law and its role in creating a positive business environment
We are looking for someone who is educated to at least degree level (or equivalent) or relevant experience gained through working in legal services. We are also looking for some-one who is a creative thinker with the ability to “think outside the box”; excellent communication skills will help to communicate ideas to and have influence with a wide range of stakeholders.
You will also have:
- Knowledge and understanding of policy issues and innovation in financial and professional services, particularly legal services, both in the UK and other major global markets
- Significant experience working with legal services, engaging with senior figures from across the sector and working in partnership with representatives of government and business in the UK.
