Our client are a leading law firm based in the East Midlands providing legal expertise and practical law advice to their vast variety of clients. Recognised as a leading firm by Legal 500 they have a fantastic reputation with both their peers and clients as they cover a range of areas including: Commercial Property, Employment Law, Wills, Trusts and Probates, and Litigation. They are currently in the market for an Ecclesiastical Solicitor to join their growing firm as a Salaried Director and undertake a dual role.
Ecclesiastical Solicitor – About the role:
This is a unique opportunity for a highly experienced Ecclesiastical Solicitor based in the UK (they will assist with relocation) to join our clients growing multi-accredited firm. Whilst still practicing in another specialist area of law, this role will cover Ecclesiastical law for the business, managing a caseload and assisting the Diocesan Registrar for a Diocese of the Church of England with the aim of assuming the Registrar role in due course. Depending on experience, it is highly likely that in the future and depending on performance, they will be able to provide excellent opportunities for progression including equity partnership.
Key responsibilities:
- Giving legal advice to the Bishop and other officers of the Diocesan
- Undertaking work with other clients within your specialism
Experience required:
- Extensive experience, knowledge and demonstratable background of working in either: Property Law, Employment Law, Charity Law or Trusts, or Wills and Probate Law.
- 7-15 years post qualification experience
- Technical ability with a personal and proactive approach
- Excellent client care skills
