A very well established and highly regarded regional practice is looking to bolster its Property Team at senior level and so is keen to appoint a Commercial Property& Residential Property Solicitor at Partner level to be based at the firms' office in North Worcestershire.

This firm has been servicing the locality for decades and specialises in commercial and residential property, private client and family law in addition to providing a broad range of dispute resolution services. The practice is able to boast a longstanding and established client base both within Worcestershire and farther afield and is very much seen as one of the "go to" firms within the area.

As a consequence of growth, and also with both eyes firmly on succession planning, the firm is keen to bring on board a solicitor at Partner level to deal with a varied caseload of commercial property and residential conveyancing matters. Equally, if you have a minimum of 5 years' PQE the firm will happily consider a Senior Associate level appointment with a view to providing support and assistance to enable you to take the step up to partner level within the medium term.

The Property Team currently numbers seven practitioners which comprises one partner and three solicitors in addition to support staff. Your caseload will have a bias towards commercial property and you will deal with the full remit of commercial property matters to include acquisitions, disposals and general landlord and tenant work. In addition, you will deal with a small proportion of complex and high value residential conveyancing matters thereby enabling you to enjoy a very varied caseload.

The firm is offering a competitive salary and benefits package which comprises free parking in addition to a generous holiday allowance which includes guaranteed time off during the Christmas period when the office closes. As befits a traditional firm, you will have your own office and have the benefit of secretarial and paralegal support. What makes this firm is different is that there is a heavy emphasis on work/life balance so people are very rarely in the office late into the evening and there will be at best a minimal requirement for business development and networking activities.

This is the ideal role for a current partner who is looking to attain Head of Department status swiftly.
