Job Details
Are you a solicitor in, or looking to relocate to the Edinburgh area with experience of rural property and agriculture law?
QED Legal's leading client has a requirement for a rural property solicitor to further advance their offering within their Edinburgh office. This appointment is due to continued expansion as they have significantly increased their market share in this area during 2019.
You will be somewhere between three and six years post qualified, although candidates with more than this are certainly of interest. You will be prepared to take on a caseload of rural purchase and sale transactions and advising on agricultural holdings legislation matters.
Candidates from a strictly commercial property background can be considered as long as you can prove a demonstrable interest in rural property matters.
This is a firm that is focusing a significant amount of their resources towards gaining a firm foothold in the market. You will be given full support in your future development within the department alongside some exceptional Partners and associates.
You will be given a clear indication from day one as to your future progression opportunities within the team with a path mapped out for as you move from assistant solicitor to associate level and beyond.
For additional information, please contact Neil Campbell at QED Legal via the details provided. All conversations are strictly confidential.
If you are an assistant solicitor looking to push to associate level and with a desire to specialise in rural and agriculture throughout your career then there are few roles of this caliber readily available.
I look forward to hearing from you.

QED
An acronym of the latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum which translates as "thus it is demonstrated" or "that which was to be demonstrated". It is most often used as an annotation at the end of a complex mathematical, scientific or philosophical argument to show that the author had proven what he had set out to prove. In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".
