Part-Time Legal Counsel – Derbyshire
This is an exciting In-house opportunity for an experienced commercial solicitor with between 3 – 8 years PQE offered on a permanent part-time basis, ideally 3 days per week. The successful Legal Counsel will offer advice and handle commercial contracts, HR/employment, intellectual property, compliance, property, GDPR and general commercial matters that support the business as needed. Based in a beautiful and picturesque part of Derbyshire the successful solicitor will handle a full and diverse caseload providing legal advice and managing legal risk, helped by a Legal assistant.
The candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with between 3 – 8 years PQE in commercial law and must hold a current and clean practicing certificate.
- Excellent communication skills with previous experience of advising at stakeholder and board level.
- Previous experience of risk management is essential.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare sectors is highly advantageous.
- Excellent attention to deal with the ability to prioritise own caseload and work to deadlines.
